John Palmer III, of Walhonding, was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued out of the Knox County Common Pleas Court on June 15th, 2019.

Deputies checked on a vehicle parked at Honey Run Park. While checking on the vehicle officers observed drug paraphernalia present in the vehicle. A citation was issued to Cortnie Foote of Danville for possession of drug paraphernalia on June 15th, 2019.

A vehicle was observed crossing over marked lanes on West High Street in Mount Vernon. After a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, the driver, Ernie Adkins II, of Marengo, showed indicators of impairment. Adkins failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI. Marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia were also found in the vehicle on June 15th, 2019.

A representative of the Knox Community Hospital Emergency Room advised that Richard Spearman, of Mount Vernon, was in the emergency room for being highly intoxicated and suicidal threats. The representative advised that Spearman was being verbally abusive to the emergency room nurses. Deputies arrested Spearman for disorderly conduct and he was taken to the Knox County Jail on June 15th, 2019.

A representative of the Centerburg Commons advised of vandalism that occurred in the common area laundry room on June 14th, 2019.

Jamie Allen, of Howard, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on June 14th, 2019.

A complainant, of Crestview Court in Howard, advised that two of his family’s cars have received screws in the tires over a several day period while driving on Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. The incident was reported on June 12th, 2019.

A complainant, from the 25000 block of Orange Hill Road in Danville, reported that sometime overnight person(s) unknown had removed a Milwaukee tool set from her husband’s unlocked truck. The incident was reported on June 16th, 2019.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Shadley Valley Road in Danville for a theft from a vehicle complaint. The vehicle owner reported items missing from two vehicles parked in the driveway on June 14th, 2019.
