Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 28, 2019

A caller reported two bikes against the guardrail on Clinton Road/Upper Fredericktown Road in Mount Vernon. The bikes were picked up and placed into evidence for safekeeping on May 27th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 11000 block of Yankee Street in Fredericktown, reported that he had a gas can with 3-4 gallons of fuel in it stolen from his boat within the past two weeks from the Knox Marina. The complainant requested extra patrol in the area because there have been a lot of thefts.

A complainant, of the 14000 block of Armentrout Road in Fredericktown, advised that he had a full 6-gallon gas can that was stolen from his boat. The incident occurred on May 22nd, 2019.

Ashmihre Wilson of Hagerstown MD was observed walking north on Meadow Lane in Gambier. A Deputy pulled over next to him and rolled down his passenger window to speak with him. The Deputy immediately smelled alcohol and the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the suspect. Wilson refused to stop and speak with the Deputy. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business on May 26th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 24000 block of Blanchard Road in Howard, advised that
Jesse Hammons Jr, of Howard, was intoxicated and was going to shoot a horse. After an investigation, Hammons was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail on May 25th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 100 block of Northern Spy Drive in Howard, advised that she received a text telling her to call 911 due to the actions of Scott McQuate of Howard. McQuate was arrested for domestic violence and assault on May 25th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 6000 block of Grasslands Court in Westerville, contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to an abandoned vehicle on his property on Apple Valley Drive in Howard. The vehicle was towed by Danville Tire from the scene on May 25th, 2019.

A blue Hyundai was observed that was parked on North Acland Street in Gambier blocking half of the two-way street. The vehicle was impounded for blocking the roadway on May 25th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 25000 block of Millwood Road in Howard, reported that the suspect, Tyron Rine II, and his girlfriend got into a physical altercation. Rine then got into a physical altercation with the girlfriend’s father. After an investigation, it was determined the Rine was the primary physical aggressor on the assault involving his girlfriend. He was arrested and charged with domestic violence on May 24th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 16000 block of Wooster Road in Mount Vernon, stated that she had noticed someone had entered her unlocked vehicle during the night and stole her Ohio Driver’s License and her debit card on May 23rd, 2019.
