Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 16, 2019

A complainant, of the 80 block of Columbus Road in Mount Vernon, advised that two male individuals had attempted to open a window near her bedroom and enter the residence. The complainant was unable to visually see the individuals but stated that they ran North on Columbus Road prior to Deputies arriving on the scene. A statement and photographs were taken on scene and a report was written on May 14th, 2019.

A victim, of the 15000 block of O’Brien Road in Mount Vernon, reported that an unknown person broke a window on their pull behind camper. A broken window and a bullet laying inside the camper under the window were observed. The damage occurred between April 15th, 2019 and May 15th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 100 block of Union Street in Centerburg, advised that a dumpster was stolen from her property on May 14th, 2019.

A Deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College Safety on an unknown felony offense. Contact was made with the complainant and they wanted to report a burglary but did not want to pursue charges on May 13th, 2019.

Rodney Williamson, of Utica, was arrested for domestic violence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana on May 14th, 2019.

A victim, of the 13000 block of Mowery Road in Danville, called the Sheriff’s Office to report that sometime in the last week person(s) unknown had cut the brake lines to his truck. The victim stated that he had his truck serviced at Zimi’s garage for brake problems and Zimi’s told him that the brake lines had been cut. The victim advised that after he brought the truck home, he observed cut pieces of the brake line on the ground where his truck had been parked.
