A Deputy used his department-issued duty weapon to dispatch an injured deer that had been hit by a vehicle. The deer had its back legs broken. The deer was dispatched and left for ODOT to pick up later on April 23rd, 2019.

A Deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Morris Street in Mount Vernon on the complainant of a theft. A report was taken on April 22nd, 2019.

A complainant, of the 8000 block of Martinsburg Road in Mount Vernon, reported that unknown suspect(s) went onto her property and cut two treed down without her permission. The incident was documented on April 22nd, 2019.

A complainant called 911 stating that her son was out of control and just got out of jail 10 minutes earlier. The caller was outside and her son kept coming outside yelling and screaming. Deputies arrived on the scene and arrested Joseph Duffey of Mount Vernon for domestic violence C section. Duffey was transported to the Knox County Jail on April 22nd, 2019.

A victim, of the 10 block of Mohawk Street in Fredericktown, stated that she had $1000 stolen through a money line account. The victim met the suspect through a dating website. Through personal information she shared with him, he was able to take a loan out in her name through Money Line. Information was obtained for a report. The incident occurred on February 1st, 2019.
