Geoffrey Hinkle, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on April 18th, 2019.

A victim, of the 22000 block of Cornish Road in Howard, stated that her daughter’s cell phone was stolen from her backpack while she was in school at East Knox High School on April 17th, 2019.

A Deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Highland Hills Circle in Howard on the report of a burglary. A report was taken on April 17th, 2019.

A Deputy was advised of a Law Enforcement Officer who needed an emergency response with a domestic violence incident. Melvin Fiske of Mount Vernon was arrested for assault, criminal damaging, aggravated menacing, and domestic violence on April 17th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 2000 block of Remy Road in Butler, reported that he was at the Knox County Fairgrounds for an auction. Sometime between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 person(s) unknown entered his vehicle and removed an air filter and intake line.
