An abandoned vehicle was located at the Brandon Memorial Park. The last known vehicle owner was notified and advised that he did not know anything about the vehicle nor wanted anything to do with it. The vehicle was then towed by On the Spot Towing, to be released with proof of ownership. The incident occurred on March 20th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 10 block of McGibeny Road in Mount Vernon, reported that her ex-boyfriend entered her house and vehicle without consent. He also took her vehicle without consent. Cody Lewis, of Howard, was charged with menacing by stalking, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana on March 18th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 800 block of Millersburg Road in Utica, advised that someone had egged his vehicle overnight as well as broke the window out of the passenger side of the vehicle as well. The incident occurred on March 19th, 2019.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol advised that a whitetail deer needed to be dispatched on Danville-Jelloway Road. The deer was dispatched and the carcass was given to a resident of Shoemaker Road in Danville on March 19th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 4000 block of Granville Road in Mount Vernon, advised that his daughter’s boyfriend assaulted him then left the residence. Pictures were taken, witness statements were collected and a report was sent to the city law director’s office for further review. Kashton Jones of Mount Vernon was arrested for domestic violence and assault on March 19th, 2019.
