Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Mar 18, 2019

Deputies were dispatched to Roosevelt Avenue on an active domestic disturbance. Paul Whipps, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for domestic violence and menacing on March 16th, 2019.
Maria Ely, of Centerburg, was arrested for violation of a protection order on March 15th, 2019.
A representative of Peak Storage in Mount Vernon advised that he had observed two locks that had been drilled out from his storage units. The complainant stated that two males in a dark Dodge pick-up came onto his property where they broke two locks and spray painted one camera on March 15th, 2019.
Christopher Turnbaugh, of Newark, was arrested on outstanding warrants out of Franklin and Licking Counties on March 18th, 2019.
