The Knox County Sheriff’s Office received an alarm from DOM Security for Fackler Kubota Tractor & Equipment on Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon. Upon officers arriving, they front door was found to be broken. The building was checked and no one was located inside. It was found that three chainsaws had been stolen from the business. The chainsaws were entered into LEAD’s as stolen on February 13th, 2019.

A Deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College on a report of drug paraphernalia that needed to be picked up. The items were picked up and placed into evidence for destruction on February 12th, 2019.

A complainant, of the 18000 block of Scott Road in Mount Vernon, reported that he tried to help a female suspect who was in trouble, and she took his vehicle on February 6th, 2019.

A victim, of the 6000 block of Green Valley Road in Mount Vernon, stated that someone had stolen his identity to try and open numerous credit card accounts. The victim stated that the suspect was able to open a checking account with Chase Bank in Georgia. He further stated that he had contacted the bank and they were able to close the account. The incident occurred on February 12th, 2019.
