Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Jan 18, 2019

A black pickup truck was observed in a parking spot on Kokosing Drive near Rand Drive with the bed hanging over the roadway blocking part of the road. A Deputy went to the closest residence on Kokosing Drive and when the door opened the odor of marijuana was coming from the residence. Spalding C Vance and Adam J Schwager, both of Gambier, were issued a summons for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia on January 17th, 2019.
A complainant, of the 10 block of East High Street in Mount Vernon, advised that he was involved in an altercation with Gregory L Meadows, of Centerburg where he was stuck with a snow shovel. Meadows was arrested on January 17th, 2019.
A complainant, of the 8000 block of Columbus Road in Mount Vernon, advised that he had been assaulted by Daniel C Dilger, of Mount Vernon. Dilger left prior to law enforcement’s arrival. Charges were issued and he was arrested for domestic violence on January 17th, 2019.
A complainant, of the 30 block of Roosevelt Street in Mount Vernon, reported that sometime recently person(s) entered his locked garage and removed items.
