Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Jan 11, 2019

A Deputy observed a silver Dodge pickup truck run the stop sign at the intersection of West Brooklyn Street and Ward Street in the Village of Gambier. The vehicle was stopped and the smell of raw marijuana was coming from the vehicle as the Deputy approached. Jason A Strong, of Bellville, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana on January 10th, 2019.
Troy A Rummel, of Howard, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court. Rummel displayed medical concerns and EMS was contacted. He was transported to KCH where he was cleared and was then transferred to the Knox County Jail on January 10th, 2019.
