A complainant, of the 18000 block of Coshocton road in Mount Vernon, advised that he received a phone call advising him that he had won a drawing and needed to send in a Walmart transfer of $200 for a processing fee. Once he did, he realized that it was a scam and he requested a report for documentation on January 7th, 2019.

Chase C Stevens, of Fredericktown, was stopped for traffic violations and was found to have a suspended driver’s license. The distinct odor of marijuana was detected and the vehicle was searched. A bag of green vegetation was located in the back seat/center console area. Stevens was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and a citation for driving under suspension on January 7th, 2019.

Derrick M Lute, of Howard, was arrested when a Deputy was asked by the Mount Vernon Police Department to work a warrant on Magers Road in Howard on January 7th, 2019.
