Allison Glass New Resource Development Coordinator for United Way of Knox County

Please join us in welcoming Allison Glass as our new Resource Development Coordinator.

Joining the United Way team, Allison brings knowledge and experience in the nonprofit arena, having previously served with Main Street Mount Vernon and the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio.

With a background in journalism and digital media from Ashland University, she has found enthusiasm in community connections and service. Allison is very excited to be able to stay in her hometown of Mount Vernon and Knox County and support the mission of the United Way, connecting neighbors in need to vital resources, in the community that raised her.

Serving as the Resource Development Coordinator, Allison will lead the annual campaign; planning and coordinating all the fundraising that goes to support the three main initiatives of the United Way: education, health, and financial stability. Allison will also take on a leadership role with the United Way affinity group Women United – United Way of Knox County, Ohio Inc, which is a natural fit for her, as she is passionate about women empowering themselves and their communities.

“We are excited to bring Allison on board to the United Way team,” said Kelly Brenneman, executive director of the United Way of Knox County. “She has experience with the Knox County community and will bring a new energy to this role. She is a fantastic addition to our team.”
