Third Montgomery County Adult Entertainment Club Has Liquor Permit Revoked

(Columbus) – The Ohio Liquor Control Commission has revoked the liquor permit of a Montgomery County adult entertainment establishment starting at the close of business December 20. This is the third revocation of a liquor permit at an adult entertainment club as a result of Ohio Investigative Unit investigations into improper conduct, food stamp and drug trafficking this year in the Dayton area.

Ohio Investigative Unit agents began investigating the Thirty Eight Thirty, Inc., also known as the Living Room, 3830 North Dixie Drive, in July 2017. During an investigation, agents witnessed criminal and administrative violations, including improper contact with patrons, nudity and public indecency, as well as purchased drugs.

Criminal charges were filed against the corporation and two employees. Those cases were heard in Vandalia Municipal Court. Thirty Eight Thirty, Inc., was found guilty of illegally operating a sexually oriented business and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine. Janelle N. Lillie, 20, of Kettering, was found guilty of illegal sexual activity and was sentenced to 180 days in jail. Amber Over, 34, of Dayton, was convicted on three counts of illegal sexual activity and was also sentenced to 180 days in jail.

Agents filed 30 administrative charges against the liquor permit, including engaging in sexual activity, nudity, public indecency, disorderly conduct, solicitation, and drug trafficking.

The other locations, The Harem, 5825 North Dixie Drive, lost their liquor license in May of 2018, while the liquor permit for Sharkey’s, 6028 North Dixie Drive, was revoked in September.
