Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Sep 28, 2018

A complainant of the 5000 block of Devore Road in Mount Vernon, stated that sometime overnight unknown person(s) punctured the gas tank and gas tank fill hose on their 2013 GMC Yukon on September 26th, 2018.

Jason W Hogan, of Howard, was found to be trespassing at a property on Sycamore Road. Hogan was arrested for trespassing and for a probation violation. Danville Police Department arrived on the scene and the K9 officer gave a positive indication for drugs in the suspect’s vehicle. Marijuana and a white crystalline substance consistent with the appearance of Methamphetamine were located inside the vehicle. Hogan was transported to the Knox County Jail and cited for possession of marijuana on September 26th, 2018.

When responding to a business alarm at Custom Cutters in Mount Vernon, it was discovered that one of the employees had an outstanding warrant out of the Knox County Common Pleas Court. Paul R Nugent, of Martinsburg, was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail on September 28th, 2018.
