Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Aug 30, 2018

A complainant, of the 100 block of East Street in Martinsburg, stated that she was making the complaint on behalf of her husband. She explained that her husband had cleaned out his work truck and had put some of his tools under the porch away from eyeshot. On August 26th, 2018 at 10:30 AM they noticed that the tools had been taken. A report was requested for the insurance.
A complainant, of the 28000 block of Mickley Road in Danville, advised that sometime between June 15th, 2018 and August 29th, 2018 unknown person(s) dumped 150 tired on his property. He also advised that he had been in touch with the Knox County Health Department and would be assisting in the disposal of the tires.
During a traffic stop, Jessica G Joslin, of Mount Vernon, was located in the back of the cab hiding under blankets. Joslin had an active warrant and was arrested. The driver gave consent to search the vehicle and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle on August 29th, 2018.
Deputies were dispatched to an active domestic violence complaint. Edward L McManaway of Mount Vernon left the residence prior to the deputies arrival but was arrested by the Mount Vernon Police for drunk driving. McManaway was also charged for domestic violence on August 30th, 2018.
