BarktoberFest

Calling all K-9 owners, grab your dogs and head to the Bark Park for the BarktoberFest. This event will feature a Dog Costume Contest, Tails to Trails Dog Walk in the Park, Tricks and Treats with Nichole, Pet Photo Booth and various other demonstrations and displays.

The costume contest will begin at 9:00 a.m. as we will line up our contestants to parade around the Bark Park as you have the opportunity to judge your favorite K-9. Owners are encouraged to dress in costume too.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. various demonstrations will be presented and 11:00 a.m. you can participate in the Tails to Trails Dog Walk. All families attending the event are asked to bring a donation of Milk-Bone Dog Treats or Pedigree Dentastix to be given to the non-profit group Dogs of Knox. Your donation is greatly appreciated as all dogs enjoy “Treats”, especially in October!

To enter your dog in the costume contest, please go to our website at www.knoxcountyparks.org and download an entry form. It is a fillable form and can be emailed in return to the email address specified on the form. Entry forms are required to participate in the contest. If you are interested in becoming a vendor at this event please, message us.
