CH411, E419, E413, T417, G412 were dispatched at 2:59 am on Monday morning to the 2000 block of County Road 182 in Morrow County on the report of an occupied structure fire. This was a mutual-aid run with the Big Walnut Joint Fire District – Station 39.
T417 arrived on scene and found a double-wide with smoke showing from the eaves, with occupants out of the structure. T417 took the driveway and crew stretched a 1 ¾ line through the front with a crewmember from 39. The fire was located in the Charlie side wall of the structure and quickly knocked down with minimal water. A second line was stretched to the Charlie side of the structure where crews removed siding. Incoming crews from 410 and 39 completed overhaul and searched for extension in the structure.
The FCFD had 10 firefighters respond to this call. All FCFD units were back in quarters by 4:58 am.
