Sheila R Devore, of Fredericktown, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on August 24th, 2018.

Multiple complaints about shots being fired in the area of O’Brien Road near Wooster Road were made. Deputies responded to the area and while trying to make contact with a lead, shots were heard by a deputy and the bullets flew very close by. The shots were coming from the east on O’Brien Road. Deputies were making contact at a residence on O’Brien Road when several more shots were fired and were also witnessed by deputies. Contact was made with Bruce Brown and he was arrested for using weapons while intoxicated and for other possible charges. Tina Brown was issued a summons in lieu of arrest for using weapons while intoxicated.

A complainant, of the 10000 block of Dunham Road in Mount Vernon, advised that someone had dumped some construction debris and other trash into his field. An address and name were obtained from the trash, upon speaking with the owner, he advised he asked a neighbor to remove it. They were not the ones who placed the debris in the field but will coordinate with the owner to make an arrangement to move it. The incident occurred on August 25th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 12000 block of Grant Road in Howard, reported that an unknown individual threw a plastic bag containing three beer cans and a soda can onto his property from the roadway. He advised that similar incidents have been occurring one to two times a week for the last month. A receipt from a store in Marion was also discovered in the bag. The complainant requested the incident be documented on August 25th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 2000 block of Rich Hill Road in Centerburg, advised that while he was at the Dollar General Store in Centerburg he found a bag of marijuana in the parking lot on August 26th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 3000 block of Grove Church Road in Gambier, advised that sometime between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM unknown person(s) had entered her unlocked vehicle and removed her purse. The purse was found on a neighboring property. The only item missing from the purse was $60 in US currency. The Incident occurred on August 26th, 2018.
