Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Aug 17, 2018

Dane E Ferenbaugh, of Mount Vernon, was located in the back seat of a minivan during a traffic stop. Ferenbaugh’s parole officer advised to arrest him for a parole violation. A hypodermic needle was located in plain view in the vehicle but no one claimed the needle and it was placed into evidence for destruction. The incident occurred on August 16th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 9000 block of Bishop Road in Centerburg, called 911 and advised that she was in a domestic dispute with John S Capoccia, of Centerburg. The complainant advised that she was locked in her bedroom and that Capoccia was trying to get in. Deputies responded and spoke with both partied and Capoccia was arrested for domestic violence on August 16th, 2018.

A complainant of the 6000 block of Ramey Road in Centerburg reported that Judy K Callahan, of Centerburg, was making threats to harm herself. Deputies on the scene convinced Callahan to go to Knox Community Hospital voluntarily, for evaluation. Once at KCH Callahan, who was intoxicated, refused to cooperate with Emergency Room Staff, was making a scene, and being loud and disruptive to other patients. Callahan was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct at a medical facility on August 16th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 12000 block of Monroe Mills Road in Mount Vernon, reported that sometime overnight person(s) unknown stole his work truck. The vehicle was entered into LEAD’s as stolen on August 16th, 2018.
