Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 15, 2018

A Deputy was dispatched to Magers Road/Mary Street in Howard, on a report of vandalism to equipment sitting unattended at the location. The Complainant stated that someone took fire extinguishers out of the tree trimmer and deployed them inside the cab and possibly in the fuel tank of the large piece of equipment. The vandalism took place sometime between May 10th, 2018 and May 14th, 2018.

A complainant of the 23000 block of State Route 206 in Warsaw, reported vandalism to a business on Coshocton Road. The complainant was called by the maintenance man and stated that he wanted a report for insurance purposes on May 14th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 400 block of South Main Street in Danville, reported that he had received a phone call from an unknown person. The complainant advised that the caller sounded like a younger male that became very argumentative during the conversation so the complainant hung up. Attempts were made to contact this person but were unsuccessful. The incident took place on May 11th, 2018.

A representative of the Kenyon Campus Safety advised that they had discovered a can with a concealment in it and suspected marijuana residue in one of the underclassman dorms after move out day. The paraphernalia was giving to a Deputy where it was placed in evidence for destruction at a later date. The incident occurred on May 14th, 2018.
