Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 09, 2018

A vehicle registration check was run on a vehicle which came back with the owner having a suspended driver’s license. A traffic stop was performed and the passenger, Tyler L Johnson, was found to have an outstanding warrant for assault of the state of West Virginia. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail. The driver, Chad McKnight was released and advised of the registered owner has having a suspended driver’s license. McKnight stated that he was in the process of purchasing the vehicle and would get it properly registered. The incident occurred on May 8th, 2018.
Jeremy A Morris was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on May 8th, 2018.
