A new monthly Children’s Afternoon Book Talk will begin on Wednesday, April 25, 1:00 p.m. at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry St, Mount Vernon.
Children select any book that relates to the month’s theme. Participants then share their books by giving a presentation of any sort. You can be creative; it doesn’t have to just be a book talk. The program is open to children of all ages.
April’s theme is: Community Helpers
Registration is required. Participants can register in person at the Youth Services circulation desk or call the main library 740-392-2665 x248.
