Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Apr 16, 2018

A complainant of the 21000 block of Wally Road in Glenmont, advised that he was the victim of a scam where he was told he had won some sort of lottery. The terms of such were, he had to take a check sent to him, cash that check and send the money back to the requested address. The check that was attempted to be cashed was not a good check. The incident occurred on March 2nd, 2018.

A complainant, of the 19000 block of Waterford Road in Fredericktown, advised that sometime while she was gone from her residence, an unknown person(s) forced entry into her home and barn causing damage to her door and barn door. The complainant stated that she only noticed a few items missing. a report was made to document the incident on April 11th, 2018.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in the Village of Centerburg for a speed violation. The driver, Sarah L McGlone of Mount Vernon, was cited for speed and also arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Knox County on April 14th, 2018.

Deputies executed a search warrant on Columbus Road in Mount Vernon. Kylie Thomas was one of multiple people found to be in the residence and she was found to have a warrant for her arrest from Marion County. Kylie was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail on April 13th, 2018.

Rodney E Williamson II of Utica was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Knox County Common Pleas Court on April 15th, 2018.
