Windy conditions expected this afternoon ahead of a strong cold front. Southwest winds will increase through the day, gusting as high as 45 mph this afternoon.
Rain showers are likely as the cold front moves east across the area tonight, with winds becoming northwest behind the front, slowly decreasing through the overnight into Sunday morning. Some of the precipitation may mix with or briefly change to snow before ending overnight, however snow accumulations are not expected.
High temperatures today are expected to reach the low to mid-50s across the area. Colder air will return across the area tonight, with lows in the upper 20s to around 30.
