Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Feb 20, 2018

A complainant, of the 100 block of West Pleasant Street in Mount Vernon, advised that $20 had been discovered missing from a group home resident’s account. A report was made and an investigation opened on February 14th, 2018.
A victim, of the 9000 block of Sycamore Road in Mount Vernon, advised that someone had used her debit card at a Dollar Store in Florida on February 18th, 2018. The victim advised that she had not been to Florida and is unsure how her card was compromised while she had it in her possession. The fraudulent charges totaled $404.95 and she was advised to contact her bank in the morning to advise them of the fraud and to see about getting reimbursed for the fraud on her account.
Kenyon College Campus Security found a bag containing marijuana and marijuana edibles. The items were collected and logged into evidence for destruction on February 19th, 2018.
