…Winter storm potential late this week with snow and ice…

Colder air will spread across the area on Friday. Rain is
expected to change to freezing rain, then to sleet and then snow
Friday into Friday evening as low pressure develops as passes to
the southeast of the area. The strength and track of the low
pressure center remains uncertain but there is the potential for
some ice accumulation along with several inches of snow.

…WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING…

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation possible with rain changing to
freezing rain and sleet and eventually to all snow. Plan on
difficult travel conditions. Up to a tenth of an inch of ice,
accumulation is possible along with several inches of snow. Snow
accumulations will range from 4 to 6 inches.

* WHERE…Morrow, Holmes and Knox counties. This includes portions
of the Interstate 71 corridor.

* WHEN…From Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Significant reductions in visibility are
possible.
