Lots of speculation and plenty of models being displayed about the potential winter weather for the weekend. One thing not to forget is to make sure and leave space around fire hydrants. If you are shoveling, plowing, or moving snow, make sure not to pile it up and hide or make the hydrant more difficult to gain access to.
Ideally, a 3-foot diameter area cleared around the hydrant will help crews to not only see the hydrant but be able to connect and use it.
