The Freedom Center has provided comprehensive substance abuse treatment services for more than 35 years. Our Center provides outpatient counseling for men, women, and adolescents. In addition, our Prevention Program reaches hundreds of youth in area schools. All Freedom Center programs have been awarded the highest level of accreditation through CARF.

We are seeking a talented chemical dependency professional to provide assessment, individual and group counseling to our female population. Our Women’s Program is gender specific and seeks to build on women’s strengths in order for them to develop a foundation of wellness and promote healthy independence. The focus is on a range of topics specific to the challenges that substance abusing women face including education on the effects of substance use, trauma-informed care and the importance of self-care and wellness throughout recovery. The candidate invited to join our team will aspire to create a counseling experience where every client feels understood, respected and cared for.

This position requires at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and at least Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant licensure as recognized by the Ohio Credentialing Board.
