Ten Found Guilty

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found one guilty after arraignments and nine guilty after hearings were held at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on December 4, 2017.

Samuel Williams, 18 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to pay court costs and was placed under an unclassified operator’s license suspension for 180 days.

John Lowe, III, 37 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of Criminal Trespass. He was sentenced to concurrently serve 10 days in jail.

Michael King, 39 of Mansfield, pled guilty to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine and serve four days in jail.

Conor Pollock, 24 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments and was sentenced to serve 60 days in jail.

Kevin Vanbibber, 35 of Columbus, pled guilty to Operating a Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol. He was sentenced to serve a two-year probation term, 180 days in jail with 159 days suspended and credit for 21 days served, a one-year operator’s license suspension, and pay a $500 fine plus court costs.

Brandi Coe, 44 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol. The Court sentenced her to serve a two-year probation term, attend a 72-hour driver intervention program, 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for 3 days, a one-year operators’ license suspension, and pay a $500 fine plus court costs.

Allan Hamilton, 28 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol. The Court sentenced him to serve a two-year probation term, attend a 72-hour driver intervention program, 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for 3 days, a one-year operators’ license suspension, and pay a $500 fine plus court costs.

Kenneth Davis, II, 45 of Centerburg, pled guilty to Driving under an FRA Suspension and was sentenced to serve a one-year probation term and 30 days in jail with 25 days suspended.

John Rohal, 59 of Howard, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct/Persisting. He was sentenced to serve a two-year probation term, 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, and pay a $200 fine plus court costs.

Sonya Pastorius, 30 of Mount Vernon, pled guilty to Disorderly Conduct and was sentenced to pay a $150 fine plus court costs.
