A complainant, of the 100 block o Roosevelt Avenue in Mount Vernon, advised that someone took her rototiller on October 18th, 2017.

Samantha L Cunningham, of Mount Vernon, was picked up on an active warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on October 20th, 2017.Read full story

Attorney General DeWine Announces Enhanced Efforts to Investigate Skimmer Crimes

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced Friday that cyber crime agents with the Attorney General’s Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) now have a new tool to help local law enforcement agencies investigate crimes involving credit card skimmers. 

Through the use of new technology, the BCI Cyber Crimes Unit now has the ability to extract data from a majority of credit card skimmers, which criminals use to steal credit card or debit card information from unsuspecting cardholders.Read full story
