Technology Trainer / Consultant Full-time job

Each of our employees consults conducts training and develops/designs in their area of expertise. We seek people who have excellent communication skills and would enjoy teaching classes in their area of expertise (online, video and classroom settings). You must enjoy people, learning new skills and staying on the cutting-edge of technologies, writing (instructional design experience a big plus!), working on projects, and consulting with clients to solve problems.
Right now we’re seeking to hire two new staff members in the following specialty areas (or finding one person with expertise and passion in both):
Web and Application Development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, Angular, MVC, etc.)
Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc…knowledge of UX/UCD helpful)

Specific job functions:
Deliver instruction/training in the use of software applications and other technologies utilized by customers. Instruction may include in-classroom, web or video conference sessions, or special desk-side training/support.
Creation or preparation of reference guides and slideshow/video/animations.
Design online courses, e-learning, and webinar content for technology-based courses using Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline.
Plan, design, develop and maintain class training materials, quick reference guides, full end-user documentation, FAQ, online learning materials and additional instructional or informative documents as needed.
Assist in developing and maintaining training curricula, course descriptions, class schedules, evaluation criteria, learning paths, and attendance records using the company learning management system.

Must be an EXCELLENT communicator and have excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Our primary office is in Mount Vernon, Ohio, a small town only 40 minutes from Columbus, Ohio. This could be a 50-50 remote/in-office position for the right person. You would need to be available for periodic travel within the United States (10 – 20% of the time).
