The forecast for the solar eclipse on Monday is coming into better view — and it is looking good! With high pressure just east of the area on Monday, dry conditions are expected with some clouds possible. The extent of cirrus coverage or thickness remains somewhat in question this far out, but as of right now, it appears unlikely that there would be any widespread precipitation in the local area.Read full story

New Scientific Research Shows Cleaning Fentanyl Spills with Household Product Effective

(BOWLING GREEN, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Bowling Green State University President Mary Ellen Mazey announced today that researchers have determined that household cleaner OxiClean ™ has proven scientifically to be effective in cleaning up fentanyl spills. 

Scientists with the Ohio Attorney General’s Center for the Future of Forensic Science and the Chemistry Department at Bowling Green State University performed an experiment with OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover™, a household cleaning product, and certified through instrumental analysis that it can be used effectively to clean up fentanyl spills.  Read full story

Attorney General DeWine Announces Ohio to Receive $19.6 Million in EpiPen Rebate Settlement

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that Ohio has agreed in principle to join the United States and other States to settle allegations against Mylan Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mylan Specialty L.P.
