Holiday Forecast

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected today, especially near and north of the I-70 corridor. While a few strong storms are possible, widespread severe weather is not expected. Brief downpours and gusty winds, along with lightning, will be the primary hazards with strongest storms. By Tuesday, the potential for isolated to scattered activity will shift to near and south of the Ohio River, but again severe storms are not expected with this activity. It’s important to remember, that even though severe weather appears unlikely, you do not want to be outside with even a “normal” thunderstorm. If thunder roars, go indoors!
