On Friday 2/25/17, Drake, 11, Warsaw, IN, was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma brain tumor. On Monday 2/28/17 he under went a 13.5hr surgery to remove the brain tumor..
The weekend of his diagnosis, he informed the doctors that he wanted to be a police officer. His family is collecting patches from police departments all over the world to have a quilt made for him.
Once we became aware of the idea to create Drake a quilt from police patches, we did not hesitate to send a Fredericktown Police Department Patch.
