Did you know? Firefighters with the FCFD in addition to their initial certification, must also maintain through continuing education as well? Each level of certification from the Ohio-36hr level to the 240-hr Firefighter II level must complete a specific number of hours every three years. Those with other certifications such as certified fire safety inspectors, fire instructors, etc, must complete additional hours to stay certified as well.
Your firefighters train at a minimum twice a month at the firehouse. In addition several travel to other workshops, hands-on classes, and trainings throughout the State of Ohio and beyond!
