What Can I Harvest From Ohio Wildlife Areas?

Warm weather is near and it will soon be time to get outside and explore. The Division of Wildlife manages more than 135,000 acres of public land across Ohio, and public lands are important for wildlife production and for recreation. Some of the best hunting, trapping, and wildlife observation opportunities in Ohio occur on state wildlife areas. Hunters, anglers, and wildlife watchers spend hours enjoying these areas.

Please remember while visiting public lands that you may only harvest nuts, mushrooms, berries, or pick up naturally shed deer antlers during the daylight hours.
