Two Guilty

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found two guilty after court trials and hearings held in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on February 8, 2017.

Kimberly S. Orndorff, 52 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty after a trial to the court for disorderly conduct persisting. This charge arose out of an incident that happened on January 10, 2017. Witnesses Charmaine Wood and Corporal Michael Wheeler of the Mount Vernon Police Department testified for the prosecution. The Court sentenced her to serve 30 days in jail with credit for time served.

Courtney L. Burwell, 20 of Mount Vernon, changed her plea and the Court found her guilty of driving under suspension for failing to reinstate. The Court sentenced Burwell to pay a fine of $100 plus court costs.
