Mount Vernon Municipal Court Criminal Docket for January 30, 2017

MOUNT VERNON – The following cases were resolved before Judge John Thatcher in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on January 30, 2017:

Vernon W. Kanode, Jr., 20 of Marengo, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of obstructing official business and aiding a juvenile to violate curfew.

Nicole A. Young, 38 of Mount Vernon, changed her plea and the Court found her guilty of obstructing official business.

Bonnie L. Woods, 34 of Fredericktown, changed her plea and the Court found her guilty of operating a vehicle under and influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

Christopher C. Creech, 48 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of driving under suspension.

Jeremy A. Morris, 28 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of failing to stop after an accident and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Franklin F. Flood, 41 of Frazeysburg, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of use of unauthorized plates.

Phillip Lehmkuhl represented Vernon W. Kanode, Jr.

Christina Reiheld represented Nicole A. Young.

Knox County Public Defender Brandon Crunkilton represented Woods, Creech, Morris, and Flood.

Director of Law Rob Broeren represented the State of Ohio and the City of Mount Vernon in all of these cases.
