Mount Vernon Municipal Court Criminal Docket on January 23, 2017

MOUNT VERNON – The following criminal cases were resolved before Acting Judge Kenneth Lane in the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on January 23, 2017:

Thomas Oakes, 25 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of possession of drug abuse instruments.

James A. Schaade, 27 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of petty theft by deception.

Renee D. Custer, 33 of Howard, changed her plea and the Court found her guilty of petty theft and violating the terms of probation imposed in a previous case.

Jason W. Hogan, 40 of Howard, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of obstructing official business.

Jacob C. Wilson, 18 of Centerburg, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of driving under a financial responsibility suspension.

Brittany N. Tomlin, 27 of Mount Vernon, changed her plea and the Court found her guilty of petty theft and failing to stop after an accident.

Robert L. Brown, Jr., 20 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of driving under suspension.

Bryan C. Bird, 30 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of aggravated menacing and resisting arrest.

Frederick M. Murphy, Jr., 26 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of disorderly conduct persisting.

Duane L. Hess, 25 of Mount Vernon, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or a drug of abuse.

Lori A. Cook, 42 of Fredericktown, changed her plea and the Court found her guilty of disorderly conduct persisting.

Travis N. Hollar, 23 of Howard, changed his plea and the Court found him guilty of petty theft.

Donald W. Johnson, 49 of Mount Vernon, Changes his plea and the Court found him guilty of criminal trespass.

Jeffrey A. Cunningham, 39 of Mount Vernon, failed to appear for his scheduled hearing and the Court issued a warrant for his arrest.

Andrew M. Suain, 38 of Mount Vernon, failed to appear for his scheduled hearing and the Court issued a warrant for his arrest.

Amanda L. Good, 19 of Wooster, Ohio, failed to appear for her scheduled hearing and the Court issued a warrant for her arrest.

Director of Law Rob Broeren represented the State of Ohio and the City of Mount Vernon in prosecuting these cases.
