’tis the Season…

With Christmas just around the corner, the Mount Vernon Grapevine would like to wish all of it’s readers, old and new, the warmest wishes for the season, in spite of the bitter cold. Without the cold, however, we would have no snow, and what is Christmas without snow?

If you are out walking, remember to wrap up well and be mindful of the sheet ice on the sidewalks and roads. If you are driving, leave yourself plenty of time to get to your destination, and remember to leave a little extra space between you and the vehicle in front.

Most of all, enjoy the time off work and school, if you are lucky enough to be able to do so, and enjoy the company of your loved ones. In today’s world, such times are increasingly fleeting, so make the most of them when you can.

From all of us at the Mount Vernon Grapevine, have a wonderful Christmas!

Sincerely,

Alan Bell
