The Ohio State Highway Patrol auxiliary officers, trooper and dispatchers in an off- duty/volunteer status, and Meijer will be participating in a partnership to provide less fortunate children the opportunity to receive and give a gift to loved ones during the holiday season.
The events will take place at the following Meijer locations in Central Ohio:
- 1661 Hilliard-Rome Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, Friday, December 2, at 8:30 a.m.
- 8300 Meijer Drive, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110, Sunday, December 4, at 8:30 a.m.
- 6175 Sawmill Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017, Saturday, December 10, at 1 p.m.
To start the day, the children will enjoy a free meal/snack provided by Meijer. Each child will receive a gift card and will be accompanied by a volunteer for a unique shopping experience where children will be encouraged to purchase something for themselves and for loved ones. Gift wrapping will be provided.
