The Gambier Child Care Center participated in a fundraiser to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on the week of November 14th. Each day of the week was designated as a special day to being in donations.
Monday – Pajama Penny Day when the children were able to wear their favorite pajamas to school.
Tuesday – Neon Nickels Day when the children could wear their brightest neon.
Wednesday – Dazzling Dimes Day allowed the children to wear something shiny or something that made them different and unique.
Thursday – Crazy Quarters Day came with crazy hat and/or socks.
Friday – Team up for Leukemia allowed students to wear their favorite team’s jersey or colors. All coins and dollars were collected and added to the donation box.
The Pennies for Patients fundraiser was a great success raising $319.16! Thank you to all that participated.
