Holiday Make and Take Craft Program

To help kick off the holiday season, the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will host a Holiday Make and Take Craft program at the following locations:

 

Danville Public Library – Tuesday, December 6, at 5:30 PM in the Danville Council Room located in the municipal building

Fredericktown – Wednesday, December 7, at 5:30 PM in the Fredericktown Community Library meeting room

Mount Vernon – Thursday, December 8, at 5:30 PM in the main library lower level multimedia room

 

Expert bow maker and former Danville Public Library Librarian Diane Ridgway, will demonstrate and assist patrons in making big bows used for wreaths, light posts, packages, etc.  PLMVKC Office Manager Lisa Blaisdell will demonstrate how to make wired trees, beaded ornaments, painted stick Santas, and decorated frames and pinecones.  Participants can make one or all of the items (time permitting) at this fun gathering.

 

This program is free and open to the public. All supplies are provided and refreshments will be served.  Due to limited space for 20 participants, hose interested in attending the Danville Public Library location will need to sign up in advance by stopping by or by calling 740-599-BOOK (2665). No reservations required at other locations.
